About Our Programs:

Our educational programs at the Wayne County Museum strive to connect youth with knowledge of their local history by using interactive methods of teaching and by providing a diverse program that focuses on all aspects of Wayne County history.

Our entertainment events are focused on creating an enjoyable time for all ages, and embracing the local community. The Wayne County Museum began as a community building in 1927 as a Woman’s Club and was later transformed into a USO during World War II. The value of this building has always been rooted in the community and we create entertaining programs which continue to be centered around the community.
