Movies on the Lawn: June – August Come join us every summer at the Wayne County Museum for a picnic style, drive-in movie event. Movies will be played in the front lawn, where you can bring a blanket and snuggle up with your loved ones and friends on a breezy summer night. Local food trucks will be present and food and drinks will be available for purchase and the museum will provide popcorn! Sit back, relax and have a summer night to remember, here at the Wayne County Museum. Willowdale Play & Cemetery Tour: August + October This original play, put on by the Wayne County Historical Association, is an entertaining narrative highlighting some of the many residents of local Willowdale Cemetery. You’ll be surprised at who is buried there and even more intrigued by the stories they have to share! Flicks in Flannel: November – January Flicks in Flannel takes the movies indoors during the cold autumn and winter months. Come join us in our upstairs ballroom, dressed in your pajamas, you can snuggle up with friends and family to beat the cold outside. Movies will be played, popcorn and hot chocolate will be served! Join us in your jammies for a cozy night, here at the Wayne County Museum. USO Dance: April It don’t mean a thing, if it ain’t got that swing! Come join us in our upstairs ballroom for a contemporary take on the classic USO dances which were once held here at the Wayne County Museum during World War II. Swing Jazz intermixed with other forms of dance music will make you want to move your feet. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to swing, we’ll have instructions on how to do your thing!
