Rebekah Fitzgerald – Executive Director Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Mount Olive, Rebekah gained experience by working as a part-time Historic Interpreter at the Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site while a student at UMO. She brought her passion for history to the Wayne County Museum by joining the staff in June 2016. Rebekah is a native of Princeton, NC. Joanna Ferrin-Ewald – Museum Assistant Being an Illustrator and Print maker, with an Associate’s degree in Commercial Art & Advertising, Joanna has a diverse background as a freelance artist and museum worker, having worked part-time at the contemporary art museum, Dia:Beacon, in New York. She has brought her passion for the arts, and her experience in design, curating and event coordination to the Wayne County Museum by joining the staff in March 2017. Joanna is a native of New York and moved to Goldsboro with her husband, after living in West Palm Beach, Florida for a year.
